Tried ii dissimilar USB-C cables and all 4 USB-C ports on my MBP. No dice. Very frustrating. | I have tried the latest DJI Banana two (2.0.12), together with the latest Horndis (9.2), on a Macbook Pro with Catalina (10.15.6) I was going crazy trying to get it to work - even though installs of both the dji assistant 2 and horndis claimed to have installed correctly, and I rebooted, I yet could not get it communicating using my usbc-usbc cablevision to the dji smart controller (or any dji device) and in the end I found I could only get it to piece of work was using a usbc to usb a adaptor connected into the macbook pro, with an onetime fashioned usb a to usb c cable (and not a new usb-c to usb-c cable), and that my existing (and several) usb c to usb c cables, would not work at all. probably its a horndis commuter outcome. maybe it doesn't back up usb c. but why dji should rely on horndis is beyond me. -- Jez | |
